Dear Participants,

It gives us immense pleasure to get back to you with the results of the BINUS SCHOOL, Serpong Inter-School Essay & Short Story Writing Competition 2022-23. At first, we thought we would have to postpone the release of the list of winners to July (based on our previous email) as we wanted to provide individual feedback on each work that was submitted to the competition. In a quick turnaround of things, we managed to finish all the work to make sure we got back to you before the summer vacation.

Congratulations to the winners and all participants! It was not an easy task for the judges to read, evaluate and compare the works in order to determine the positions. The entries were clearly focused on the topic, and they presented the prompts in highly creative ways that should serve as inspiration to students. We would like to thank every writer who made great efforts and took up this challenge seriously. So, a huge standing ovation to all the participants!

Mr. Alex (Subject Head, MS English) and I would like to thank the judges – Mr. Simon, Mr. Geoffrey, Mr. Yosua and Ms Hema for assisting us in judging the competition. Their inputs were invaluable during the process.

We would like to thank Mr. Leo, Ms Fania and Ms Hema for being part of this competition right from the beginning, taking care of communication, certificate and poster design and other related matters.

We would like to thank our Principal, Ms Sherrirose Garcia Gonzales, the Vice-Principals, Ms Regina Raj and Ms Mariza Lardizabal for the continued guidance and support to the department in all our endeavours.

Last but not the least, a huge shoutout to all participating schools – students, teachers and leaders – for making this competition a huge success.

No enquiry will be entertained on this. However, if you have other queries related to the competition, please get in touch with us.

All certificates and cash prizes will be sent to schools in July.
